Finance Reporting Officer

We are currently looking for a Finance Reporting Officer to join our team.  You will support the Client Support Manager in producing accurate and timely financial and MI reports for our clients.  You will be involved with making multi-currency payments using Western Union’s GlobalPay platform and online business banking.  You will deal with queries from clients, patients and providers confidently and professionally.

You must have excellent attention to detail, strong numeracy skills, and be confident analysing and summarising large volumes of data.  The ability to work to deadlines is essential, as is an excellent understanding of Microsoft Excel. Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial, but flexibility and the desire to develop your professional skills are more important.

Person Specification

Essential

  • An excellent level of computer literacy, including competence with the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel. You will be working with large data sets, so you should be comfortable using formulae and sorting and analysing thousands of rows of data.
  • The ability to work independently and a willingness to take responsibility for the completion of complex tasks.
  • The ability to multitask and prioritise your own workload.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • The ability to work as part of a team and build and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Familiarity with accounting ledgers and bookkeeping

Desirable

  • A basic understanding of databases and SQL coding.
