We're seeking a customer driven 1st 2nd Line Helpdesk Support Analyst, ideally with 1-2 years' commercial experience, who would be interested in moving to a varied and interesting position for an exclusive, well-established client of ours in Newport.

Your role would include having responsibility for supporting and maintaining the company's IT systems and for providing efficient desktop support to both on-site and off-site user base. The department is responsible for resolving any IT related faults quickly and efficiently ranging from password resets to system diagnostics, plus enhancing and developing the IT provision within the business.

The main aspects / duties of the role will include:

IT support across all areas of the business assisting the existing IT Support personnel.
Heavy involvement with projects around VM Ware, Backups, Networking (LAN & WAN) and Security.
Supporting and maintaining the Microsoft Server and Desktop operating systems, the office 365 environment business support systems plus general maintenance of IT related hardware & Software.
You'll also be involved in a range of IT projects and activities as they the environment involves.

Any experience or knowledge of the following skills mix would be ideal:

-VM Ware Infrastructure Administration & Configuration
-Network Administration & Configuration
-Backup Administration & Configuration
-Group Policy Administration & Configuration
-Providing technical assistance to on-site and off-site staff
-Diagnosing and resolving technical hardware and software related issues
-Complete internal user moves including Phones
-Undertake medium sized IT projects as directed by IT Manager
-Set-up and configuration of new Desktops, Laptops, VOIP Phones, Mobiles, Printer etc.
-Monitoring of WSUS and Antivirus Solutions
-Reporting faults and maintaining logs on Servers, Desktops and Laptops
