Production Planner - £25K - Llantrisant

As the Production Planner you will be responsible for:

- On site and forward stock demand planning.
- Stock management and audited inventory.
- Raw materials inventory control.
- Management through liaising with warehouse staff regarding GRNs.
- Stock rotation based on FIFO principles.
- MRP and ERP input.
- Dealing with all supply chain questions and or claims concerning the deliveries in term of timing and quantities
- Following the daily business and resolving all urgent matters regarding deliveries in relation with the office manager.
- Providing forecasts and detailed schedules of inbound activity to ensure the right levels of stock are delivered to the stores and the right resources are deployed in the right areas.
- Managing the relationship across multi-functional teams responsible for manufacturing, store replenishment, and capacity planning.
- Work with procurement managers and buyers to select products that are in demand and will sell.
- Prepare forecasts and inventories for reports to the company's management team.
- Track shipments and stock levels using computer software.
- Lead the end-to-end planning process and manage outbound stock plans to ensure smooth throughput of product through to production.
- Constantly review ways to improve supply chain networks.
- Manage the inter site stock transfer process.
- Develop and implement inventory strategies to exceed availability and stock KPIs
