9 month FTC

*These are evening roles 30.5hrs per week: 4-10pm Monday – Thursday and 3.30pm – 10pm Friday

Role overview

SSCL has an exciting opportunity for a number of Recruitment Advisors and Vetting Administrators to join their employee services delivery team in Newport.

In these roles you will be responsible for delivering Recruitment transactional services relating to the Recruitment Lifecyle. Processing work will include; checking a candidates right to work, their ID, requesting references and inputting information onto the police checking system. And Customer service work will involve speaking to applications and helping them through the proce

Key responsibilities

  • Process work in line with agreed procedures, business rules or scripts
  • To schedule and prioritise allocated work on a daily basis
  • Learn the procedures and understand parameters of producing a quality output
  • Resolve queries and escalate as necessary (i.e. a team leader/manager/other group) and log if appropriate
  • Liaise with internal/external clients.
  • Print/post data/reports/invoices daily.
  • Maintain records for audit purposes.

Essential skills

  • Confident in processing a high volume of transactions while maintaining high level of accuracy at all times.
  • Confident phone manner
  • Ability to use spreadsheet
  • Able to work in a team or other structured environment
  • Articulate and able to maintain good relationships with colleagues and clients

Desirable skills

  • Numerate
  • Ability to navigate around and understand use of relevant systems

e.g. Oracle/SOPIdeally brief (taken from VMP / internal spec)

Security clearance

You will be required to pass a Disclosure Scotland
