The company is an established manufacturing company supplying a range of niche world-class products to major blue-chip clients across the globe. They employ over 200 people at their South Wales site and offer a culture which is close-knit and friendly.

Due to continued growth, the company is looking to employ a CNC machinist who would be required to work a three-shift pattern as follows:

* Mornings (Monday – Friday), 06:00 – 14:00
* Afternoons (Monday – Friday), 14:00 -22:00
* Nights (Sunday – Friday), 22:00 – 06:00

As the CNC machinist / CNC operator, your duties will include:

* Machining parts from programmes supplied by the production engineering team.
* Editing programs to suit material conditions.
* Programming components on the machines using drawings.
* Saving all programs and set up sheets after every job.
* Highlighting any tooling or material issues to management.
* Ensuring on-time delivery of parts.
* Setting machine parameters to specific tolerances.
* Ensuring quality of parts is to the standard required.
* Maintaining a high level of housekeeping.

To be a successful CNC machinist / CNC operator, you will have the following skills and experience:

* CNC machining/turning experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
* CNC programming experience (desirable).

In return, the CNC machinist / CNC operator will receive a salary of up to £25,500 (including shift allowance and increasing to £27,500 following successful completion of probation period) + 25 days on top of bank holidays + pension scheme (5% increasing to 7.5% in 2019) + annual variable bonus plan (discretionary) + childcare vouchers + eyecare scheme.
