£44,677 to £58,391 (subject to pay award)

The Role

This key role in the Partnerships team is responsible for developing influential external engagement across a wide range of stakeholders to impact positively on the skills requirements and image of the industry and in turn the local economy. You will lead on project based portfolios that will be GB-wide and take responsibility for high level engagement across a national key employer and stakeholder account portfolio. While this is role holds a GB wide remit, the primary geographical remit for this role is in North Wales and so applicants will live in or near to this region.

The Partnerships Manager role is critical to ensuring that the construction industry has the supply of people with the skills and qualifications it needs. Utilising excellent communication and negotiation skills, the Partnerships Manager will create positive relationships with key employers, stakeholders and decision makers at national levels through the design and implementation of stakeholder mapping and strategies for engagement. The role will build and maintain partnerships and collaborations that address skills gap challenges and provide timely intelligence and insights to inform research and national policy responses. As such, the role will be very externally focused, achieving influence and engagement at a high level across the industry and will involve extensive networking and relationship building.

A clear understanding of the needs and development of the construction industry and the skills and education environment is desirable in this challenging role. Equally, written and spoken welsh language skills will be beneficial.

Frequent travel throughout North Wales and, as the role requires, across Great Britain.
