Essential Skills Manager.

Basic salary: £32,000 per annum rising to £35,000 per annum plus car uplift equating to £2,500 per annum, with option to exchange for company car after 6 months.

Additional benefits: generous holiday package, contributory pension scheme, excellent health care plan and much more. Total reward package up to £37,000 per annum.

Base: Ocean Park House, Cardiff 

Contract Term: Permanent

Hours: Full time (37 hours)

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who possesses excellent leadership skills who will develop our growing Essential Skills (ES) provision. The role will involve the development of curriculum and the line managerial responsibility overseeing Tutors and the Lead Internal Quality Assurer of Essential Skills qualifications, across Apprenticeships and Traineeship programmes. 

The purpose of this role is to ensure there is a consistent and robust service available to develop learner’s levels of Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy whilst attending ACT and to ensure high quality learning programmes are delivered, that enable learning outcome targets to be met.  

Applicants will have experience of curriculum development and quality assurance and will hold an Essential Skills Practitioners qualification.
