Senior Marketing Executive

Reporting to: UK Head of Marketing, Ostomy

Location:

* Greypoint, Cardiff, CF14 5WF.

Package:

* Salary circa £32,000 gross per annum dependent on experience
* KPI bonus

Hours of work:

* Usual business hours.
* From time to time, the candidate will need to be flexible with working hours and may need to travel away from home to attend training or Company events.

Objective:

* The Senior Marketing Executive is involved in all aspects of marketing for all brands and is responsible for the management of the Marketing Coordinator.
* The Senior Marketing Executive is responsible for creating, developing and implementing marketing plans in accordance with the Head of Marketing.
* The Senior Marketing Executive will oversee marketing department when UK Head of Marketing is off-site.

Responsibilities:

* Integrate marketing campaigns focussing on patient retention and new business opportunities and provide a monthly campaign report.
* Responsible for producing marketing communications collateral and promotional aids to ensure consistency.
* Support all national exhibition and internal events.
* Evaluating marketing campaigns and ROI.
* Compile ongoing competitor analysis and reporting, with reference to pricing, presentation and promotion.
* Develop and enhance product literature and communication.
* Ensure efficient communication of marketing activities to key stakeholders.
* Support the development and implementation of digital strategy.
* Maintain company websites.
* Build and grow company social media profiles.
* Attend regular planning, internal and external meetings to represent the marketing team, delivering presentations when required.
* Assist in all forms of activity to support the launch of new products.
* Evaluate the work of the copywriters, designers and printers against given brief ensuring corporate identity is maintained and within guidelines at all times.
* Ensure that all marketing communications, including on and offline, adhere to the data protection legislation.
* Provide customer service excellence through all methods of contact with nurses and patients.
* Any other duties as required to meet business needs.

Person specification:

* Excellent communicator with good writing skills.
* 3+ years marketing experience, ideally in a busy environment with multiple products and services.
* Educated to degree level, in Marketing would be an advantage as would CIM qualification
* A full understanding of all aspects of the marketing mix, ideally with awareness of the medical and/or stoma care market.
* Previous experience in a B2B and B2C marketing environment.
* Creative flair.
* Highly enthusiastic with positive attitude.
* Well organised with attention to detail.
* Excellent Excel and Powerpoint skills with experience of carrying out market analysis.
* Work effectively under pressure in both a team and on own.
* Self-motivated and proactive.
* Able to multi-task and manage competing priorities/projects
* Delegation and supervisory skills
* Event management organisation.
* Smart appearance at all times.
* Empathy and good listening skills.
* Full driving licence.
* Flexible to travel occasionally for business.
