Newport's Supported Living Team

You will support 2 ladies within their own home and out in the community. The objective is to enhance their day-to-day skills, therefore improving their independence and meeting outcomes. The daily tasks include administering medication, supporting with domestic tasks, personal care and support and community engagement.

Hours are Days, afternoons, weekends and sleep in's

What's the role?

You will be involved in day-to-day support including: personal care, food preparation, housework and specific community based activities. You will support your team, keep accurate and timely records, as well as develop positive relationships with the people you are supporting and their families.

The Scheme:

We are looking for one person to complete our small team of support staff at this very active service. A background of working in care is not essential, however would be useful.

With your genuine love of care, we can provide you with all the tools you'll need. We tailor your development dependant on current skills and experience through our comprehensive pre-employment training, induction and ongoing structured support. You'll have the support of your peers as well as a Manager at all times. With all of the above, your confidence and competency will grow within the role. For this role, you will require an Enhanced DBS check, which we will pay for.
