Business Improvement Techniques/Performing Manufacturing Operations Assessor

We are looking for an experienced Assessor to support with the delivery of Business Improvement and Performing Manufacturing Operations Apprenticeship frameworks to learners in their place of work.  The role involves assessing learners against QCF criteria and delivering workshops based around the Business Improvement and Performing Manufacturing Operations QCF qualifications. You will also be responsible for supporting Apprentices to deliver improvements which have a benefit to their employer in terms of Quality, Cost and Delivery.

Applicants must have at least 3 years occupational experience within the Manufacturing or Engineering sector. Applicants will also need to hold an occupational based qualification at level 2 or above, as well as an A1/TAQA or equivalent qualification in assessment. A V1/TIQA or equivalent qualification in verification and PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification are desirable but not essential as is an Understanding of BIT (5S, Lean, Kaizen or continuous improvement) and experience of delivering Essential Skills qualifications.

Basic Salary: up to £22,000 per annum dependant on skills, qualifications and experience.
