Sales Manager needed for the UKs leading provider of ID cards and plastic card production ID Management Systems UK based in modern offices in Cathedral Road, Cardiff since 1994.

They are currently recruiting a Sales Manager which specialises in plastic card printing, smart cards, ID cards, access cards, card software and accessories.

The Role

Based in Cardiff centre, the role of Sales Manager is to profitably grow the telephone sales team and delivering exceptional service to our current client base whilst also looking to broaden our services to new businesses.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Managing a portfolio of our key clients
  • Managing a telephone sales team and telemarketing
  • Working with the Marketing Team for sales campaigns
  • Delivering against the target that has been set
  • Conducting market research to analyse potential areas for growth
  • Developing a national sales strategy
  • Conducting one to one and creating development plans for the work force

The Person

The ideal candidate for the position of Sales Manager will have to have had experience in running a successful telephone sales team in excess of £1million and a long track record within a results driven sales environment.

  • A self starter that shows initiative and able to work with minimum direction
  • Must be dependable, positive thinker, thorough, loyal and precise
  • Must be able to create ideas and finding better ways of doing things
  • Must have experience in working with the marketing department for e-mail and print campaigns
  • Minimum experience of running a telephone sales team with sales of over £1 million
  • Must have experience in business sales analytics and renewal
  • Knowledge of business to business sales
  • Must be able to work with suppliers on large projects and have excellent negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to build relationships at all levels and with any size business
  • Successful track record mentoring and motivating a telephone sales team

Along with an excellent starting salary the successful candidate will enjoy a monthly bonus on sales targets being reached.
