Part-Time Accounts Assistant
Hourly Pay Rate £8.50 - £9.50 + Holiday Pay
A fantastic opportunity has arisen in the Swansea area to work for a well established family-run business. My client is seeking a part-time accounts assistant to work 2 days a week. Ideally you will work a Wednesday and Friday or Thursday and Friday. My client would also consider an individual that is looking to work the 1 day a week. The role is to cover a maternity and is expected to last until March 2017 but there is a possibility for the successful candidate this could be extended or even turn permanent.
Working in a small and friendly office environment you will be required to report directly into the Head of Finance on a day to day basis. My client is looking for an individual that is happy to help out with general administrative tasks within the finance department.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Entering sales and purchase ledger invoices onto SAGE
2. Processing payments
3. Dealing with supplier queries
4. Statement reconciliations
5. Credit Card analysis
6. Processing expenses
7. Cashbook entry
8. Ad hoc tasks as and when required by the FC
The suitable candidate must have experience of using SAGE 50. You will have ideally worked within a small company environment and be used to dealing with a variety of tasks. My client can offer on-site parking and a degree of flexibility with the start and finish times but ultimately these working days are essential in order to fit around a job share.
