Accounts Administrator - Aberdare
Urgently Required - Temporary for 6 months +
Hourly Pay Rate £7.50 - £10.00 + Holiday Pay
A temporary requirement has arisen in the Aberdare area for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk. Our client a manufacturing organisation, are seeking a candidate who is happy to cover reception duties coupled with all purchase ledger responsibilities within the business. The role is being offered initially on a 6 month temporary capacity but for the successful individual there is a chance it could turn permanent.
Reporting into the Management Accountant on a day to day basis and working within a small, yet friendly accounts team you will be required to deal with the following:
1. Reception cover and all associated tasks
2. Invoice entry/processing - dealing with approx. 100 invoice per month
3. Supplier queries
4. Statement reconciliation
5. International currencies
6. Preparation of invoices for payment and passed onto Management Accountant
7. Deal with bills of materials
8. Ad hocfinance tasks as and when required
The suitable candidate must have experience of working on SAGE 50 and/or 200 and you will also be proficient in Microsoft Excel. My client is seeking an enthusiastic and hard working individual, who is willing and eager to help out with a variety of tasks. As a business they like to promote within, so although this role may be starting off at entry level, if you have the right attitude, ability and skill, there could be other opportunities that arise within the finance department. Our client also encourages studiers, so if you are working towards your AAT qualification this would be a distinct advantage!
Hours of work are Monday - Thursday 8.00am - 4.00pm and Friday 8.00am - 3.30pm with lunch, some flexibility can be offered. On-site parking is also available.
