The Role:
Our client is a manufacturing company and they are looking to employ a Production Controller to join their busy team.


Responsibilities:

• Responsible for receiving orders from Oracle and planning production schedules.
• Make shipment list of products of Laptops and Docking Solutions according to the customer requirements.
• Ensure orders are shipped to customer in a timely manner and prioritise shipments according to customer requirements.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Prepare and assure the parts and materials are available to meet delivery schedule of the products.
• Responsible for the development of production control & planning.
• Construction weekly / daily report for management
• Actively communicate with the production team to ensure shipping deadlines are met and maximise production capacity by model grouping.
• Report material shortages and potential missed shipments to Planner.
• Communicate with Raw Stores to ensure deliveries are booked in according to shipping priorities.
• Liaise with production Engineering Team to ensure smooth production plan.
• Participate in daily production meetings to discuss the production schedule and potential issues.
• Liaise with production Engineering Team to ensure smooth production plan.
• Enter and process CCV orders on SAP, create and transact CCV stock in SAP.
• Update product orders in Oracle per customer request.
• Issue virtual licences to customer request on SAP.


Candidate Requirements:

• Competent and experienced in a high volume manufacturing environment with production control and scheduling responsibilities in a high volume manufacturing.
• Excellent Excel and Word computer skills and proficient keyboarding skills.
• Knowledge of “Oracle” and “SAP”.
• Good analytic thinking ability.
• Good mathematical skills.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work alone with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work additional hours and some weekends as and when required.
• Self-motivated.
• Flexible to respond to business needs.
• Highly diligent and tenacious, able to work on own initiative.
• Strong team working and multi-tasking skills; must be highly organised and understand the need for attention to detail and the importance of accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills.
