reach provide domiciliary care and support on site to older people and people with physical disabilities in the Llanishen area of Cardiff.
What will you do?
As a Care Support Worker you will be working within our Extra Care Scheme, providing support throughout the day to people living within the complex in their own flats. You will be involved in day-to-day support including: personal care, some domestic tasks, pursuing hobbies, support in the community and promoting independence, as well as reviewing and updating care plans and assisting with planning rotas.

- Excellent communication skills, with an enthusiastic and positive outlook
- Desire to support people living independently in their own flats
- Experience of supporting people through the ageing process
- Ability to respond to peoples emotional/psychological/social and spiritual needs
- Confident to work alone in a sometimes challenging environment, using your own Initiative
- Desire to develop skills, undertaking appropriate training courses when offered
A background of working with people with age related physical or mental health needs is desired, but not necessary as full training and support from senior staff and management is provided.
