Our client specialises in the provision of claims management and loss adjusting services and are looking for a Claims Handler to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented domestic or commercial Claims Handler to specialise in a more challenging and technical role.
Working within a team of experienced Claims Handlers and Technicians, you will assist in the investigation and settlement of claims. This role would really suit someone who enjoys negotiation with policyholders and claimants on domestic or commercial claims and who has a desire to help all parties to a fast and fair settlement. Commercial claims experience would be advantageous but is not essential as full training, encouragement and support is on offer for the right candidate.
• Solid experience of negotiating domestic or commercial claims.
• An eye for important detail and the ability to filter out the unimportant.
• Superb communications skills, both oral and written.
• The ability to work on your own initiative and take ownership of your own caseload.
• Understanding and empathy when required.
