About the role:

New Business at Admiral is all about making sure that our customer’s first experience of us is an excellent one. Most of our customers will have already sourced a quotation from the internet and will be calling to purchase their insurance for the year. Your role will be to make sure their first impression, is a lasting one and the beginning of a long relationship with ourselves. The people you will be speaking to are interested in what we have to offer, so your role will be to make sure, (by applying the training we provide), that they leave us with an insurance package to suit their needs.

When customers call, you'll tell them all about our insurance products so they can tailor their policy to meet their personal car insurance requirements, before accurately inputting details on our systems as you close the sale. It's a sales role with a difference, callers want to buy! Our team is a happy, content one. In fact, once people join the sales team they tend to stick around. Why? Because success at Admiral isn't about being aggressive or pushy – it's about making sure every customer finds their perfect fit and after your comprehensive training, you'll be perfectly placed to do just that.

It goes without saying that you will have a first rate phone manner – polite, considerate, articulate and driven. You'll also need IT skills (internet and basic data entry), bags of initiative, and genuine keenness to keep learning, solve problems and find answers for our customers. You will be a great listener, show outstanding product knowledge and be able to match our product to our customers' needs. You'll need to be flexible too, and open to new ideas and varied working hours.
