Relief Assistant Support Workers (Male*) - Supported Living
Working on a casual basis, based in Caerphilly
No driving license required
£7.20 per hour

These positions have the same responsibility as our contracted staff, however as a relief member of staff, you can select shift patters that match your personal needs.

What's the role?
As an Assistant Support Worker you will work with people with a range of difficulties, to live independently and achieve fulfilling lives. You will be involved in day-to-day support including: personal care, food preparation, housework, pursuing hobbies, support in the community and promoting independence. You will work as part of a team, keeping accurate and timely records, as well as developing positive relationships with the people you are supporting and their families.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for male staff because we have roles that specifically require a man because of the people we support. Ideally you will have experience in the areas mentioned above, however we look for transferrable skills, as well as the right values and behaviours. So you'll have the motivation to work positively with the people we support. You'll also need good written and verbal communication skills.
