A new era is starting at Sherman Theatre and we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic team of volunteer ushers to help to deliver excellent customer service at the Sherman.

Since January 2015 over 100 people have chosen to dedicate some of their valuable time by joining our team of volunteers who work hard to welcome our audiences and deliver excellent customer service.

Our team of volunteer ushers are a brilliant group of individuals who are all passionate about supporting the Sherman and the work we do. Volunteering is not just about helping the Sherman thrive. When you join our team you also receive all of these perks:

Company Description

We are delighted to be responsible for creating the artistic vision for this wonderful theatre, and making work for the people of Cardiff and beyond.

The Sherman has been through some changes in recent times; we are now looking boldly to the future. We will produce classical text and contemporary plays, in both the main house and the studio theatre.

We will also develop and produce new writing, with a strong focus on Welsh or Wales-based playwrights. We will co-produce with creative partners whose vision chimes with our own, and increase the impact and reach of our produced work.

We will make theatre which speaks to the citizens of Cardiff, Wales, and the wider UK. We are waiting to entertain you.
