Electrical Maintenance Engineer

At the heart of this, our UK Poultry division produces a third of all poultry eaten in the UK and represents more than half of 2 Sisters’ business by sales. The division employs over 9,000 people working in a chilled environment to process poultry products which are then marketed to UK consumers via major retailers.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be a key part of a team providing a high level of engineering service to the business and your key responsibilities will include:

• Undertaking planned and reactive maintenance to improve engineering reliability and minimise downtime and disruptions to production.
• Working to ensure the continued safe operation of all plant equipment.
• Proactively looking for new, improved ways of working and coming up with CI focused, innovative approaches to resolving engineering issues.
• Developing strong working relationships with other engineers and shift production/operations teams to diagnose and resolve problems.
• Ensuring all relevant KPIs are achieved.

• Apprentice trained Electrical Engineer, ideally with Food or FMCG manufacturing experience, but we're keen to hear from engineers from all industries looking for a new challenge.
• Prior experience or working in a planned/reactive maintenance role
• Proactive approach to engineering with experience of root cause analysis to resolve recurring problems.
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to work closely with colleagues at all levels across the business.
• Team player - keen to learn from others, share knowledge and experience, and support the wider team.
• Experience of Mondini packaging equipment and Herbert Labellers would be an advantage
