Job Purpose

To provide financial support within the service group including final accounts preparation , the production of annual estimates and provision of monthly budgetary control information.

Key Results Areas

• Responsible for specific areas or tasks in relation to the service group s final accounts;
• Responsible for specific areas or tasks in relation to the preparation of the service group s budgets;
• To assist with the maintenance and development of the Authority s financial systems as they impact on the service group and enhance training and financial awareness;
• To assist in financial monitoring of the service group s units through the completion of all routine, regular tasks and provision of information; getting particularly involved in the outturn forecasting of staffing costs on a monthly basis or example
• To provide relevant data and assist in the completion of grant claims, statistical and statutory returns;
• To assist in monitoring expenditure incurred as part of the capital or minor works programme;
• Any other reasonable duties as requested by the Finance Business Partner.
