Here at SPTS we design, develop, and manufacture high-tech capital equipment for the global semiconductor market. Responsible for the growth of our world leading wafer handling and process systems, the Platform Engineering Group are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team based in Newport, Wales.
Purpose of the role
We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to join our expanding engineering team. Reporting to our Platform Hardware Manager the Electrical Engineer will work supporting key customer accounts.
This will involve initially working within smaller R&D teams to gain experience of SPTS products, before moving to a ‘core’ engineering team providing engineering support to key customers. This would be a demanding role involving direct contact with worldwide customers and suppliers. Some occasional out of office hours meetings will be required.
