At AECOM, we’re at the forefront of innovation, delivering an exceptional portfolio of water programmes and projects through long-term partnerships with key clients - including major UK water companies (Wessex Water and Southwest Water locally), contractors and international projects. This role represents a great opportunity to develop your career as a technical expert delivering solutions on a diverse range of projects that meet the technical challenges of today and tomorrow.

Here’s What You’ll Do:

  • Structural Design: Undertake the design and review of structures on wastewater and water infrastructure treatment projects, such as water-retaining structures and other water related assets, from concept through construction. Lead the delivery of structural design by others.
  • Collaborate: With Clients and AECOM counterparts to ensure stakeholders buy in to solutions, and also contribute to AECOMs wider technical capability and innovative approach.
  • Quality: Produce and review high quality deliverables, including calculations, drawings and technical reports to relevant standards and procedures.
  • Deliver: Take responsibility for delivering to the agreed budget, programme and quality along with supporting the preparation of project budget & programme.
  • Explore: Seek opportunities to innovate and trial new methods by being inquisitive and forward thinking.
  • Mentor: Delegate tasks, direct and oversee the work of others and act as a technical mentor to more junior staff.

If you're passionate about innovation and turning bold ideas into reality, AECOM welcomes you. Join our team, where we don't just construct infrastructure but also uplift communities and enhance lives.
