Front of House Catering Assistants

1. We’re looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Front of House Catering Assistant to join our welcoming coffee shop team at Pugh’s Garden Centre.
2. Your roles includes greeting and serving customers with a warm and positive attitude, taking orders and handling payments, preparing and serving hot and cold drinks and assisting with food service during busy periods.

2 x Front of House Catering Assistants, Temporary Seasonal Contracts (Radyr, Cardiff)

Location: The Watering Can Café, Pugh’s Garden Centre, Tynant Road, Cardiff, CF15 8LB

Hours: 2 x 12 hour temporary seasonal contracts, weekend positions

Salary: up to £12.21 per hr depending on age

Start Date: Immediate Start Available

About the Role:

• Greeting and serving customers with a warm, positive attitude
• Barista experience
• Taking orders and handling payments
• Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks
• Assisting with food service during busy periods
• Clearing tables, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring high hygiene standards
• Supporting the kitchen team as needed
• Demonstrate high standards of food hygiene.
• Have a basic understanding of health and safety.
