Job Description

First Choice Housing Association is looking for a Director of Digital Innovation & Business Improvement to provide strategic leadership for the IT function and lead the business improvement and digital innovation function, ensuring alignment with organisational goals. The Director of Digital Innovation & Business Improvement will be responsible for developing and reviewing the corporate plan, business continuity strategy, and value for money strategy and takea risk-based approach to protect FCHA’s ability to function.

The successful candidate joining the team will be an enthusiastic individual , with strong values that match those of the organisation. Candidates with a degree, or equivalent, in I.T, business, or a related field are welcome to apply. Proven experience in leading digital transformation initiatives and having a strong understanding of cybersecurity, data governance, and ICT strategy is essential. Director of Digital Innovation & Business Improvement: The Work

Work will include:

  • Provide strategic leadership for the IT function, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Lead the Business Improvement & Digital Innovation functions by overseeing the Business Transformation Strategy.
  • Actively contribute to corporate management and lead the development of the Corporate Plan.
  • To develop and review the Business Continuity Strategy and value for money strategy identifying the necessary steps to limit, remove or control risk and to protect the organisation’s ability to function

Work hours

Standard full time hours are 35 per week, Monday to Friday. Flexible working hours including generous time off in lieu arrangements. We also offer agile working with a blend of home/office working. A working from home allowance is also provided of £50pcm.

Salary

£78,486 - £94,806 per annum

Certain matters are devolved to Committees, as follows:

  • Audit, Risk & Assurance Committee 
  • People & Culture Committee 

The Board of Management has overall responsibility for the Association whilst day to day control is delegated to the Chief Executive.

​This includes making sure standards are met and that the Association is accountable and open. It also sets the strategic direction of the Association.
