The Urdd is a unique organization that has been offering valuable experiences to over 4 million children and young people in Wales since 1922, through areas such as Sports, Arts, Residential, Inclusive, International, and Voluntary activities.
We have nurtured generations of young men and women to be proud of their country, open to the world, and embodiments of our language and culture, as well as embracing the universal values honored in Wales.
Therefore, we declare our ambition to continue extending the reach and impact of our work and the young people of Wales. This is crucial if we want the Welsh language to be central to the lives of children and young people in our country and ensure that everyone in Wales, whether Welsh speakers or not, feels ownership and pride in the language and its traditions.
