Llandaff Cathedral has had a chequered history of construction.
Church in Wales have signed up to Cymraeg Gwaith/Work Welsh to help clergy, staff and volunteers learn the basics of everyday Welsh.
The Church is also responding to the spiritual challenges of our age, and moves forward with hope, under God’s direction and guidance.
The Diocese of Llandaff is the most populous of all six Dioceses of the Church in Wales. With over one million inhabitants, it covers much of South Wales, including the urban centres of Cardiff and Barry in the southeast, the Heritage Coast to the south, the South Wales Valleys in the north and the post-industrial regions of Neath and Port Talbot in the west.
The Diocese is subdivided into 34 Ministry Areas and parishes in 6 Deaneries which are approximately aligned to Local Authorities. Each Ministry Area is led by a team of clergy, who can be a Priest in Charge, Vicar, Ministry Area Leader, or hold another title.
