DASU provides professional coordinated and targeted interventions to people experiencing domestic abuse across Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire and Wrexham. Our services offer choice to our service users, maximising their safety, and the safety of their families whilst demonstrating outstanding value for money to out funders and commissioners.
We have over 30 years’ experience in delivering specialised and professional services that include Independent Domestic Violence Advocates, Crisis intervention, Outreach and Resettlement, Safe Refuge accommodation, Empowerment and Education programs, Training, Advocacy and Children and Young people services. We provide free, high quality services to women, men and their children who are or have experienced domestic abuse, enabling them to live fear free in our communities, optimising their ability to manage their own safety and wellbeing.
DASU is the only specialist Domestic Abuse service provider in North West Wales to hold the Welsh Women’s Aid Quality Mark. We also are proud to have won both the Welsh and National Go awards in 2020 for Best Third Sector Service.
