Main Responsibilities
Due to our continued growth we are currently recruiting for a Sales Manager in Cardiff.
Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will manage a team of Network Advisors to maximise business opportunities and achieve team targets and KPI`s for a specific campaign.
Key Tasks:
- Co-ordinate the workflow, allocate tasks and act as the main point of contact for all team members.
- Perform team management functions including objective setting and conducting appraisals.
- Manage under-performance, absenteeism and disciplinary issues.
- Deal with customer calls and escalations where necessary.
- Manage coaches within the team and train them in the development of people.
- Monitor, coach, and give feedback to individuals and set measurable team targets including call monitoring.
- Assist with the preparation, planning and implementation of process improvements in line with the senior management team.
- Prepare and submit regular performance tracking reports, team reports and any other ad-hoc reports as required.
Skills and Experience
- Must have sales team leadership experience
- A high degree of commercial awareness with a professional approach
- Proven experience of building long-term working relationships
- An ability to motivate on a group and individual level
- Experience of working in a fast-moving call centre environment
- Previous supervisory or people management experience.
- IT Skills - Excel, Word and Outlook.
