Job Summary:
To provide the highest standard of support to service users with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder, in the community supporting Service Users in achieving positive and meaningful outcomes in line with their person- centred plans
Principle Accountabilities
- Contribute to the care and wellbeing of service users who live in the community · Promote and take part in social, educational, leisure, activities promoting and teaching independence skills whenever appropriate.
- Maintain and keep up to date all relevant and appropriate records, and report relevant issues to line management.
- To ensure all staff within the team are familiar with and follow policies and procedures including the Codes Of Practice for social care and work within the framework of CSCI where appropriate.
- Deliver support in accordance with the individual’s support plan.
- To be willing to take on key worker responsibilities maintaining all relevant and appropriate records.
- Ensure that medication is administered according to the individual’s support plan, as appropriate.
- Attend care reviews and any other meetings specific to individual that you support · Complete specified induction and foundation training.
- Be willing to work alone, adhering to safe practices at all times.
- To take responsibility for specific tasks delegated by the manager

Salary and hours
£7.63 social, £9.00 unsocial when working one to one. £6.84 social, £8.08 unsocial when working two to one. No fixed hours casual in the absence of staff or service requirement but generally can guarantee at least 14 hours per week.
