Role: Lead Engineer
Location: Newport
Salary: ?40K package
Our Client is a Global Automotive manufacturer whose success and continued growth has been fulfilled by the quality of individuals that they appoint. As part of their controlled expansion plans they are looking for a high calibre Lead engineer who will take responsibility for the design and development work on current and future products and lead the Design/Development activity.
The Role:
Lead Design Teams
Deliver cost effective solutions
Take ownership of all project schedules
Meet budget requirements as specified
Undertake presentations to clients
Liaison with internal and external customers and suppliers
The Person:
Minimum of 5 years design experience within Automotive or related industry
Understanding continuous improvement culture and Lean manufacturing
Be familiar and champion latest engineering methods
Experience/knowledge of CAD
Excellent communication and presentation skills
