Project Officer, Smarter Choices Wales
£20,370 - £22,800 per annum (Ref: SUS518)
(depending on relevant skills and experience)
37.5 hours per week - contract from 2 April 2012 to 3 August 2012
based in Penarth
This post is to co-ordinate the local delivery of our Personalised Travel Planning (PTP) project aimed at cutting car use in Cardiff and Penarth and will involve managing a local field office from which the team will target around 12,000 households with travel information and advice.
Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent and experienced in forming productive working relationships, you will be an effective people-manager with experience of leading a team and have a proven ability of working effectively in a high pressured environment. You will have strong communication skills, excellent IT skills, a practical approach to problem solving and a commitment to the promotion of sustainable transport. The ability to communicate in Welsh would be an advantage.

Yn ddelfrydol byddwch wedi eich addysgu hyd lefel gradd neu gyfwerth, gyda phrofiad o greu perthynas weithio gynhyrchiol. Byddwch yn rheolwr pobl effeithiol gyda phrofiad o arwain tîm, ynghyd â gallu profedig o weithio'n effeithiol mewn amgylchedd o bwysau mawr. Bydd gennych sgiliau cyfathrebu cryf, sgiliau TG rhagorol, ymagwedd ymarferol tuag at ddatrys problemau ac ymrwymiad i hyrwyddo trafnidiaeth gynaliadwy.
