South Wales SME seeking an inhouse .NET/SQL developer with a broad IT background.
The successful applicant will have good knowledge of T-SQL, C# and Visual Basic, and some knowledge of database administration and Windows systems administration.
Key requirements:
- Development experience with .NET 3.5, Visual Basic, C#, and SQL Server 2008
- Experience with SSIS and/or DTS development
- Experience with integrating SQL Server and MS Access
- Experience with reporting solutions such as SSRS
- SQL Server database administration skills
- Knowledge of systems administration best practices
- Experience of the entire development cycle, from initial specification to end-user support
Additional beneficial skills and experience:
- Knowledge of Windows XP, Windows 7, and Server 2003, 2008 and 2008 R2.
- Active Directory and MS Exchange administration experience, including GPO-based systems configuration
- Experience using Symantec BackupExec
- TCP/IP and Ethernet network administration skills, including DHCP and DNS servers
- Awareness of web hosting technologies and principles
