Job Elements: -
• To maintain aspects of the current quality and environmental systems, in order to ensure conformance through a structured audit process
• To ensure documentation relating to product conformance is completed
• To support feasibility studies
• To complete calibration studies on measuring equipment
• To complete all relevant documentation relating to dimensional, material and environmental testing of initial samples (PPAP)
• To carry out periodic testing on product, where required
• To support Production on areas of quality concern
• Respond to Customer and Supplier Quality needs
• To complete corrective actions on customer return activities
• To liaise with suppliers and implement supplier development programmes
• To complete visits at both customers and suppliers where required
• To work with Customer Engineering and Program teams on developing new products
• To prepare and submit Project Status / APQP reports to New Program Teams, where required
The ideal candidate will have:
• Experience of modern automotive quality system requirements (APQP, FMEA, PPAP, 8D, etc).
• Problem/process improvement skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• The flexibility to succeed within a fast paced office and manufacturing environment.
