We are currently recruiting Stewards for the Ryder Cup Travel Services.
We require staff who can provide the highest quality and professional service to all guests and staff who are attending The 2010 Ryder Cup.
You will be responsible for ensuring guests and staff, are escorted onto the correct buses at the correct times.
Skills and Experience
- The successful candidates must have excellent customer service and communication skills and ideally have experience of stewarding at formal events.
- You must be flexible and able to work between the hours of 5.30am and 10.30pm and will be located in one of six car park locations in and around Newport.
- Welsh Speaking would be an advantage.
- You must liaise and take instruction from your Supervisor and perform duties within the parameters and scope of your job.
- Ensure you are familiar with all the tasks that you will require to fulfill your role.
- Ensure all bus spaces are clearly marked to match the days timetable, be aware of which area you are responsible for and take direction from your Supervisor.
- Give clear concise and scripted information to any passenger’s enquiries.
- React to any changes to timetables, due to unforeseen circumstances, for example, bad weather may result in early close of play.
- Ensure all health and safety instructions are followed.
- Make sure the area is clean and tidy at the end of the day and ready for the next days operation.
