We specialise in providing high quality care for people in their own homes. Due to our continuing success and rapid growth, we now have opportunities for care workers to join our teams in Newport and Torfaen, particularly the Pontypool and Blaenavon areas.
Main Responsibilities:
The job role will be to deliver all aspects of personal care to our service users and performing varied tasks such as shopping, domestic duties, meal preparation, medication prompting etc
Skills and Experience:
A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential. Basic verbal, numeracy and literacy skills are essential, as is a caring and responsible attitude.
No experience is necessary as full paid training will be provided, but a happy, enthusiastic personality is required.
NVQ2 is desirable but if not already gained will be provided to all successful applicants. In addition, you will have a flexible and enthusiastic approach with a strong desire to care for people.
Appointment is subject to a successful interview, references and an Enhanced CRB Disclosure. The CRB Disclosure is part funded by ourselves.
