HOSTEL ASSISTANT MANAGER (full time approx 40 hours per week).
Responsibilities will include Stock Control and Ordering, Management of Cellar and Food Operation including compliance with H&S and Food Hygiene Legislation, and Staff Rotas.
Requirements:
Enthusiasm, patience, common sense and a sound knowledge of Cardiff and Wales are essential. IT skills, travel experience and the ability to speak Welsh and foreign languages will be an advantage.
The successful applicant will have the ability to multi task, possess excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure and take the initiative whilst working alone in a lively and sociable environment.
Confidence in dealing with varied and multicultural customers in a pleasant manner will be crucial, as will attention to detail in taking bookings and transactions.
Due to the nature of the job you would be working nights and weekends.
