The Role:
We are seeking a part-time Welfare Rights Advisor to join our Newport-based multi-professional Family Support Team providing welfare benefits advice to service users and carers to enable them to maximise their benefit income.
Requirements:
Knowledge of welfare benefits is desirable, together with experience of advice work and a commitment to achieving positive outcomes for service users.
Use of a car and possession of a UK driving licence is essential.
This post involves working with vulnerable adults and is subject to Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure at enhanced level.
Shift Information:
Part time – 3 days per week
