My client is based just outside of Cardiff Central and is looking to recruit for a Team Leader within its Asset Information department.
Key objectives and responsibilities:
• To carry out the function of Asset Information Technician, creating and maintaining asset and design records in GIS and producing equipment designs in CAD.
• To support the Technicians within the AIT, providing advice and simple training as required.
• To maintain an awareness of the as-laid or design the asset Information Manager if the appropriate SLA is at risk.
• To work with the other Asset Information Team Leader with regard to managing the Technicians’ workload within the matrix environment.
• To produce monthly reports against the ongoing workload and adherence to SLAs.
• To make the Asset Information Manager aware of any issues relating to the Technicians and assist in seeking a resolution.
Skills required:
• Certification in AutoCAD, ESRI ArcGIS products or another CAD or GIS product.
• Asset Records experience
• Experience of working within an utility company
• Experience of managing a team within a challenging and changing work environment
Benefits
Salary is dependent on experience and would be between £18,000 and £26,000
