Job Specification
A well established manufacturing company based in Swansea require a previously experienced Setter to start on a ongoing temporary to possible permanent contract. The safe and efficient setting of press tools in ‘C’ and ‘H’ frame mechanical presses, hydraulic and CNC presses with up to 200 Tonne capacity. The efficient operation of all power presses to manufacture quality products using the equipment provided in a safe manner to satisfy our customers delivery schedules.
Main Duties:
- Ensure the quality of all production.
- The safe and efficient setting of all press tools.
- Consistently satisfy and exceed production targets.
- The safe and efficient operation of the Fork lift truck.
- Ensure the maintenance of all Health & Safety standards.
- Follow closely all the relevant Work Procedures.
- Ensure the safety and productivity of the workstation is maintained.
- Contribute to the effectiveness of the company through continuous improvement.
Skills and Experience
The applicant must currently hold Power Press Regulation Certificate as well as a Fork Lift licence.
Working Hours:
8am-4:30pm OR Morning and Afternoon shifts, so must be flexible.
Experience of commissioning and running multi stage progression press tooling would be a distinct advantage.
